breathing and imagination.

routines.

Each student progresses
at her/his own pace to learn breathing and warm-up exercises including
Therapeutic Chi-Kung to prepare for learning Tai Chi Foundations and Forms.
Traditional Exercise provides students with more energy, strength and
knowledge with Martial Arts. Tai Chi is fun, low impact and uses dance-like moves
that have been used
for generations to manage chronic pain, relieve stress and fatigue, improve
balance, comfort, flexibility and memory.
Partner and self-defense
training are included as students
are ready.

Qigong Gentle Exercise
Qigong (also
spelled Chi Kung) Exercise combines
specific postures and movements with imagination and special breathing
techniques, to improve the immune system and minimize the effects of aging.
Movements are done slowly, as one would have to do in water. Qigong requires
minimum space, strength and is easily modified to benefit chair and hospital bed
users.
"Qi" (chee) is Chinese for life force energy and "gong" (gong) is Chinese
for exercise to improve balance, quality, quantity and movement of qi. Low
impact postures, calm, deep breathing and gentle movements create more energy
for your lifestyle. Practice while standing, sitting or from a hospital bed to
make use of better balance, flexibility and relaxation to relieve stress.
Medical Doctors who specialize in Qigong, prescribe
and successfully treat problems serious as cancer. Build Energy - Calm and
Focus the Mind. Improve Balance, Comfort and Flexibility. Tone and Strengthen
Muscles. Have fun minimizing effects of aging. Modifications taught as needed.
Classes are tailored to student needs and include forms created by Masters who
are Eastern and Western trained Medical Doctor's.
